The cottage is a short walk from the world renowned Belleek Pottery, home of the famous translucent Parian China, and just 250 metres away from the colourful village of Belleek which has a variety of shops, authentic Irish pubs, a hotel, restaurants and a Post Office.

The region is internationally renowned for fishing with game (trout and salmon) and course angling on Fermanagh's rivers and lakes and sea fishing on the nearby Atlantic coastline.
